Oncall payment is 100% of after hour billings. Support from a comprehensive team allows you to utilise your skills and expertise to best serve this friendly community. You will be working as a solo GP providing general rural community health services to families, the elderly and some workers comp will be required.  As one of the few dispensing practices in Victoria you must be comfortable dispensing medicine directly to patients. Work hours are Monday to Friday 8.30 am? 5.30pm and you can choose to work in the clinic 4.5 days or 5 days a week. There is an on call roster however it is negotiable and there is almost no demand for the GP to attend call outs as nurses triage out of hours calls and the community emergency response team are available for emergencies. You can also choose to just be available for oncall via phone and be called in by the nurse practitioner if absolutely necessary. == The Practice == The air-conditioned health centre features three consulting rooms, a small emergency room, a clinic-run pharmacy, staff room, kitchen, gym, community centre and an IT facility. You will have the support of an experienced admin team, practice managers and highly trained nurses who deliver first line emergency for support.  The accredited practice is fully computerised utilising Zedmed and dispensing software. Allied health services available include a visiting physiotherapist, diabetes educator, podiatrist, mental health counsellor, child and maternal health care nurse, masseur, OT and dietician. == The Location == This picturesque small town is located on the Murray River is just an hours drive from the regional centre of Albury Wodonga.
