The 24 hr emergency department will help to increase your skills with a highly supportive environment at your finger tips.   The Hospital This busy hospital is part of the Sunshine Coast Health Service District, which includes Nambour and Maleny Hospitals, with Nambour being the main referral centre approximately 50km north.   Completely rebuilt with the new buildings opening in April 2001, this facility serves a population of approximately 90,000 and is an integral part of the Health Service.   Services provided include a 24hr emergency department, 27 general medical, geriatric, palliative care and post op. inpatient beds, with 12 subacute rehab beds, specialist outpatient clinics in general surgery, orthopaedics, medicine, urology, gynaecology, geriatrics, palliative care, and a 17 bed rehab ward.   == The Location == You will work in a seaside resort only an hour?s drive from Brisbane, on the southern end of the Sunshine Coast with amazing beaches stretching for miles.   Within half an hour's drive of the beach, the landscape varies from tropical fruit plantations to lush rainforest.
