There are no allocated outpatient/ED beds - serious and critically ill patients awaiting transfer/retrieval and other patients requiring longer observation utilise the inpatient beds when available. You will work 8am ? 5pm Monday to Friday and on call is 1 in 3 nights. You?ll be working alongside the Medical Superintendent and one other SMO.   Hospital accommodation supplied and flights are provided. Rates will be between $1500 and $1800 depending on your experience. == The Location == The town is located halfway between Mackay and Townsville and sits on a square peninsula, with ocean to the north, east and south ? which means there are eight beaches surrounding the town!
