You will be positioned across two hospitals in this local area health service and utilising your leadership skills you will be involved with the development of junior medical staff, giving you the opportunity to share your knowledge and expertise. You will also be required to actively participate in departmental meetings, quality improvement programs and research, planning and clinical audit activities. This position will give you the opportunity to make full use of every aspect of your training and experience. The Hospitals You will be based at a 100 bed facility that offers general and specialist health services to the region. The Department of Emergency Medicine at this facility has in excess of 23,000 presentations per year. The majority of patients are classified as category 3, 4 and 5.
