Ideally they would like 7-9 days i.e. Monday to Friday plus 1 or 2 weekends either side. The role will involve covering an 8 bed General Adult inpatient unit during the day, then being on call overnight. There may possibly be some outpatient duties too.   During the period you are there you will be on call 24-7, hence why they can only take doctors for short blocks as it would be unreasonable to expect doctors to cover continuous on call for much longer than that. They have ongoing needs starting from 13th May. They need doctors who are experienced as given the nature of the work and their location there is not a lot of peer support.   They will cover your return travel and provide accommodation and a car.
