There are two positions available to start in Jan/Feb 2013 on a 12 month fixed term contract.   In this position you will work alongside another registrar and an SHO, with a consultant on hand to supervise where necessary. The roster typically includes 1 long day per week and doing 1 in 7 weekends. However, on the days you finish at 4pm you can be sure to join plenty of your colleagues in after work activities which only adds to the already fantastic work/life balance.   In addition to the above your annual practicing certiftcate fees of approx. $800 will be reimbursed by the hopsital, and you will get 5 days initial accommodation on arrival free, which should give you plenty of time to find your own rental property.   The Hospital The hospital is a large secondary hospital providing services to the growing population of the region. With 321 beds and more than 1500 staff, the hospital provides a comprehensive range of level 4-5 services to its population. These include medical, surgical, paediatrics, obstetrics and gynaecology, mental health, and a wide range of associated clinical support and allied health services.   The hospital staff are committed to the team environment organising events such as touch rugby and beach volleyball, with trips to the beach organised regularly.
