The Practice

This well-established community practice is looking for a General Practitioner to join their welcoming, multi-cultural team in providing a range of health care services. With onsite pathology, imaging facilities, 16 GP consulting rooms, a chemist and a full-stocked treatment room for minor procedures, the care provided to your patients will be coordinated and efficient.

You will work alongside 14 established GPs and a range of experienced Allied Health professionals as well as skilled nursing and administrative teams who will ensure your day runs smoothly and allow you to focus on providing your patients with quality care.

Practice opening hours are 7am to 8pm weekdays and 8am to 6pm on weekends and public holidays, giving you full flexibility to work the days and hours you desire.

The Location

Toowoomba is a picturesque mountain town located only an hour and a half’s drive west of the state's capital, Brisbane. Nestled on the edge of the Great Dividing Range escarpment at an altitude of seven hundred meters above sea-level, the city affords breathtaking views of Table Top Mountain and the Lockyer Valley region across the east. There are many things to see and do in Toowoomba all year round. In springtime, Toowoomba's parks and gardens become vibrant and ablaze with colour and life, and to celebrate Toowoomba's status as "The Garden City", every year in September the Carnival of Flowers is held, with a street parade!

DPA position and visa sponsorship available.

VR GP required.

AHPRA ESP and RACGP PEP-Specialist Pathway eligible international candidates (substantially comparable only due to supervision requirements) as well as GPs holding Specialist Registration with AHPRA are eligible for this role.
