The Practice
With a rise in patient demand, this mixed-billing practice is looking for a new GP to join their welcoming tea, offering a generous percentage of billings as well as work-life balance. There is also an opportunity for a GP with skills in women’s health to join their sister clinic that is located just 20 mins from this practice. There are currently six doctors who are ably supported by a team of nurses, receptionists and a practice manager. To ensure you settle in and feel confident in your new role, the practice is offering an initial guarantee and relocation allowance.
The practice features three well equipped consultant rooms and the sister clinic houses four consult rooms as well as on-site pathology and a treatment room. Both practices provide you and your patients ultimate convenience with a pharmacist on-site. With the practice located in the centre of the town, you will have access to everything you in the one location! Offering you the opportunity to finally achieve a work-life balance, the practice opening hours are 8am to 5pm, Monday to Friday.
The Location
This practice is located approximately just under a 30-minute drive and 30km north-west from the central Canberra. With so many things to see and do in Canberra, you will be so grateful for flexible work hours! Both the Australian War Memorial and the National Gallery are local along with a vibrant food culture, fine local wines, great restaurants and a local food trail known as the Poacher's Pantry. With a large Meriton shopping centre and a selection of excellent private and public schools, this is an ideal location to raise a family!
Essential Criteria
DPA position and visa sponsorship are available.
RACGP PEP-Specialist Pathway eligible international candidates (both substantially and partially comparable) and GPs holding Specialist Registration with AHPRA are eligible for this role.
GPs holding General Registration with AHPRA, who have been accepted on to a fellowship pathway with either the RACGP or ACRRM are also welcome to apply.

As one of their doctors moves away from general practice into hospital work, a position has become vacant for a VR GP to join the team at this AGPAL accredited practice located in a north-western suburb of Canberra. This practice prides itself on providing the local community with access to quality care and developing lasting relationships with their patients.
You will be joining six doctors that support one another in reaching their full potential and ensuring patients receive state-of-the-art healthcare. The practice is purpose-built to suit the needs of their doctors, with generously sized consult rooms, one treatment room and nurse station. Available allied health service include a counsellor, an exercise physiologist and a dietician as well as on-site pathology for your and your patients’ convenience.
The practice provides a supportive environment where their doctors can reach their full potential. To ensure you can focus on patient care, you will be ably supported by an exerienced team of nurses, reception staff and a manager. Practice hours are 8:30am to 5:30pm from Monday to Friday only, providing you with time to relax with family and friends over the weekend.
