Albury is the biggest of the two hospitals, the ED consists of 12 beds, 2 Resus beds and a 4 bed short stay unit. Wodonga is a 12 bed ED with 2 Resus beds. Across both facilities the ED has around 80,000 presentations annually with 25% paeds presentations
Accommodation is provided. Albury airport is a 1hr flight from Sydney or Melbourne. 3.5hr drive from Melbourne, 5.5hr drive from Sydney.
You must have General Registration with AHPRA.
Albury Wodonga Health have specific hospital paperwork which must be completed. A NCRC & NSW/VIC WWCC is also required, which can be applied for online.

You must have General Registration with AHPRA. You must have an active WWCC in WA. You must have a current Emergency Department CME/CPD evidence, such as REACT/Western Trauma. You must have a current Criminal Record Screening issued within 12 months.
Admitting Officer Role in a busy Emergency Department
The Goulburn Valley Health Emergency Department sees approximately 35,000 patients per year. One third of these patients are paediatric. There is a full range of patient presentations including trauma.
Shorter blocks will be considered

3.5hr drive from Melbourne. Melbourne is the closest airport if travelling there from outside of VIC.
The Emergency Department has 25 cubicles including:
3 resuscitation cubicles ? for all traumas, cardiac arrest and other critically ill patients
