A well-established, medical centre in Melbourne’s northern suburbs is seeking a VR GP to join their friendly, collaborative team. The clinic has been serving the community for over 40 years and, under new progressive management since 2016, continues to thrive as a patient-focused practice. The clinic features 10 modern consulting rooms, onsite pathology and a range of allied health services including psychology, audiology, osteopathy, counselling, and podiatry, ensuring comprehensive care for all our patients. The team currently includes two full-time GPs and nine part-time doctors, supported by experienced nursing, administrative staff and a practice manager. 

Operating hours are Monday to Friday from 8am to 10pm, Saturdays 8am to 5pm, Sundays 9am to 5pm, and public holidays 9am to 1pm. With these hours, you have the flexibility to manage your work schedule to fit your lifestyle, while enjoying a great work-life balance in a busy, well-supported environment.

The Practice

This privately owned mixed billing practice prides itself on delivering high-quality, personalised care in a friendly and professional environment. You’ll join a collaborative team of seven experienced doctors, supported by a nurse, dietitian and physiotherapist, along with a welcoming and efficient admin team that values teamwork, quality and continuity of care.

The practice can offer a DPA teaching exemption for GPs with a genuine interest in education and mentoring, an excellent opportunity for those who enjoy guiding the next generation of doctors while advancing their own career.

The incoming GP can expect steady patient demand of around 25 to 30 patients per day, depending on hours worked. You’ll be part of a supportive team culture that values quality, patient-centred care over volume, allowing you to take your time with consultations and maintain a balanced, sustainable workload. The clinic operates Monday to Friday from 8am to 6pm, with half days on Saturday and Sundays closed. You can choose your hours to suit, promoting an excellent work-life balance.

The Practice

Located just 20 minutes from Adelaide city centre, this modern practice is looking for doctors to join their established team. You will be working alongside a team of experienced GPs that all have varying special interests. This practice is happy to welcome any special interests you may have as they are committed to providing their loyal patient base with comprehensive healthcare. Impressive earning potential is yours for the taking with a generous percentage of billings on offer alongside an ever-growing patient base seeing you establish yourself within a matter of days.  

This ultra-modern, impressive medical centre boasts twenty purpose-built consult rooms that are all well-equipped with everything you need. This practice offers its patients with comprehensive healthcare with a wide range of allied health services available on-site. Practice hours are 8am to 11pm Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm Saturday and 9am to 5pm Sunday. The practice is also looking for an after hours doctor to work between 6pm and 11pm during the week and Saturday and Sundays, with $165 per hour on offer for these hours. The Practice

As part of a large regional health network, the clinic has purpose-built facilities that offer a comprehensive range of medical services. You will be part of an exciting health service provider, rurally based and fully equipped with three consulting rooms, an emergency room, designated treatment area and an exclusive space for nurse consultations. You will be seeing 18-22 patients per day, work with 2 resident GPs plus have an extensive support from a dynamic team of allied health professionals as well as nurses and admin staff. The practice is open Monday to Friday from 8:30am to 5:30pm, no evening shifts required but you will be part of a Saturday morning 9-week rotation roster. This practice boasts in a wide variety of specialist services including Community Mental Health, Mobile Surgical Services, Laboratory Services, Ambulance, and Emergency. Be immersed in several community initiatives and collaboration in rural health clinical care.

Essential Criteria

In order to be registered with the Medical Council of New Zealand, you must either have practised in a comparable health system for at least 33 months (for at least 30 hours per week) of the 48 months prior to application OR have a primary medical degree from the UK or Ireland and have completed your internship within the UK or Ireland.
