      Conditions: This Urgent Care Centre is seeking ongoing locum cover, with up to 2 locum GP's across each weekday shift. The hours are Monday –Friday 10am–6pm and then weekends/public holidays from12pm –4pm. There is a diverse patient base including Indigenous and non-Indigenous patients, mostly Cat 4 & 5, and with approximately 4 patients per hour. Ideally you will be competent with suturing/gluing and holding the ALS certificate is desirable. You will work within an experienced, welcoming team including another GP weekdays (whilst sole GP on the weekends which is an optional shift), plus nurses and admin support. Alice Springs, in the heart of Australia’s Red Centre, is a captivating destination that showcases dramatic desert landscapes and deep cultural heritage. Secure accommodation is provided at the Hilton Hotel or local serviced apartments.
