The Practice

This clinic is seeking a committed VR GP to join their established team of 13 doctors, supported by four nurses and nine receptionists, allowing you to focus on delivering exceptional patient care without administrative distractions. The practice features 12 consulting rooms and a treatment room with four patient beds, creating an ideal environment for delivering high-quality care. Current full-time GPs bill up to $13,500 per week, reflecting strong patient demand.

This is a teaching practice, offering opportunities for mentoring and professional development, making it ideal for GPs who enjoy sharing knowledge and learning in a collaborative environment. 

The clinic offers a broad range of services, including minor procedures such as IUD and Implanon insertions/removals, iron infusions, venesections, wedge resections, excisions and I&D, with vasectomy experience considered an advantage. 

Operating seven days per week, Monday to Friday 8am to 5:30pm, and half days 9am to 1pm on weekends with a rotating weekend roster, the practice provides a stable and collaborative working environment.

AHPRA ESP and RACGP PEP-Specialist Pathway eligible international candidates (substantially comparable), as well as GPs holding Specialist Registration with AHPRA, are eligible for this role.

The Practice

This modern, state of the art facility is like no other clinic you have worked at before! Almost a mini-hospital, there are over 50 consulting and treatment rooms with 22 GPs, 19 specialists and 48 respiratory doctors – this practice is closer to a small hospital than your usual GP practice. You will be supported by 25 nurses and 8 receptionists, allowing you to focus on looking after your patients and increase your billings.

This is a great opportunity for you to upskill with specialists you can buddy up with on site, including Cardiologists, Gastroenterologists, Skin Cancer Specialists, Paediatrics, Muscular Skeletal, Neurology and many more. The practice has the only Brain Treatment Centre in Australia, assisting patients with neuromodulation and recovery of Autism, ADHD, PSTD and Mental Health issues. The practice is also linked with the Sunshine Coast University clinical trials. Enjoy Thursday education lunches with lunch provided and become involved in teaching and training medical students, GP registrars and other doctors or take part in one of the seven research projects that are currently ongoing.

Your books will be full as soon as you start with flexible working hours between the practice opening hours of 8am to 8pm, 7 days a week. Only 40 minutes’ drive from both Brisbane CBD and the Sunshine Coast, this location in the Moreton Bay region of northern Brisbane has a pharmacy onsite and Caboolture hospital only 10 minutes away.
