| Conditions: | Lismore Base Hospital is a regional referral Level 5 base hospital with state-of-the-art operating theatre suite, ICU/CCU, imaging, Cardiac Cath Lab and most major specialties and subspecialties. The Lismore Base Hospital Emergency Department is a comprehensive level 5 Emergency Department and is the designated Trauma Centre for Northern NSW with on-site roof top helipad as part of our Retrieval Service. The Specialist will cover wards, theatres, clinics and any emergencies as part of the normal working day. The Specialist is required to attend C/section and neonates, Special Care Nursery, and ED. Child Protection Training is preferred. The Specialist will work 0800-1700hours each day with on call overnight from 1700-0800hours each day. Supervision and training of Junior Medical Officers is a requirement. Standard daily rate is $2500 per day (24hour period) all-inclusive as per NSW Health capped rates. We will provide basic accommodation/allowance, hire car and reimburse reasonable travel. Please ensure any locum presented for our consideration is job ready and has current NSW working with children clearance, national criminal record clearance and has completed all mandatory training modules including eMR and eMEDS prior to commencement. | |||
