The Practice

This mixed billing practice is experiencing growth and therefore need a GP to join the team and start providing quality medical care to a community in need. You will be joining eight GPs, most of which have an interest in skin and cosmetics work.

Purpose-built and modern, the practice is conveniently located in one of the biggest shopping centres in the suburb. Opening hours are from 7am to 5pm Monday to Friday so you can enjoy your evenings and weekends off to spend quality time with family and friends.

The clinic features well-equipped consulting rooms, a large treatment room, a dedicated skin cancer procedure room and a nurses’ room. You will have two registered nurses, two receptionists and a practice manager all working together to support you with all your daily needs. With a psychologist on site and a range of other healthcare services such as a dentist, physiotherapist and chemist all located within the same shopping centre, your patients have access to a range of allied health services.

The Location

This practice is located in an industrial suburb in the Pine Rivers district about 17km north-west of central Brisbane. The Practice

Established by the current GP principal more than eight years ago, this successful mixed billing practice services a growing coastal catchment and enjoys consistently high patient demand from both the local community and surrounding townships. The practice currently has four GPs, including an internationally qualified doctor currently working through their supervision requirements.

The patient demographic is largely comprised of retirees and pension card holders, with approximately 80% of consultations involving patients over 65 years of age. This creates significant opportunities for Health Assessments, GP Management Plans, Team Care Arrangements and Domiciliary Medication Reviews, supporting strong and sustainable billings. Children account for a smaller proportion of the patient base, contributing to an efficient consulting mix and enabling doctors to focus on comprehensive chronic disease management and preventive care.

The practice is supported by experienced nursing staff and offers onsite pathology, physiotherapy and podiatry services, allowing doctors to provide coordinated and comprehensive patient care. The clinic also benefits from excellent referral pathways and support from three major regional hospitals and an extensive network of specialist services. Opening hours are Monday to Friday 8:30am to 5:30pm, offering excellent work-life balance with no evening or weekend work required.

The Practice

The practice is bidding farewell to two of their long-standing and well-regarded GPs gracefully retiring after many years. This offers an exciting opportunity for GPs to take over an established patient base and work alongside their remaining six GPs. With close to 40 years of service to the local community, this practice has developed a loyal patient base, and you can start to build your own lasting relationships with your patients. To help you start off strong, the clinic is offering 90% of billings in the first month, 80% in the second two months and then 70% of billings from the fourth month onwards.

You will be working with a highly experienced support team of nurses and administrative assistants, who will work together to make sure all your admin needs are covered. Work in a modern, well-equipped facility that features five consult rooms, a treatment room, sterilization/immunisation room and a staff room. The practice is located only a short less than a half hour’s drive north-west of Brisbane CBD. The suburb is family friendly, with a range of great schooling options, parks, golf courses, a leisure centre, shopping facilities and a whole lot more! Commuting to work will be no problem, as the suburb is easily connected to a range of public transport options. This is also considered to be one of Brisbane’s leafy north suburbs close to famous parks like Edward Allison Park at Eaton’s Hill and George Willmore Park at Ferny Hills.
