      Conditions: You will be the sole-chronic disease specialist supplying ward services to Fitzroy Crossing hospital. Completing a ward round and patient discussion with the handover nurse and the ED SMOs. The outpatient ward manages patients with complex chronic conditions (diabetes, chronic kidney disease, ischaemic heart disease, rheumatic heart disease, etc.) so previous cultural awareness experience is essential. There is 24/7 support but you will not be required afterhours or over weekends. Travel is via Broome then by air or car to Fitzroy Crossing. All travel provisions including a 4x4 car is provided and you must be able to cover a 2-week block if travelling from outside WA. This region offers a powerful blend of natural beauty, culture, and outback adventure. Set on the Fitzroy River at the gateway to the Kimberley, it’s the perfect base to explore dramatic landscapes like Geikie Gorge (Danggu National Park), with its towering limestone cliffs and river cruises.
      Credentials: FRACGP or FACRRM, Specialist AHPRA registration, previous chronic disease and/or AMS experience required. WACHS credentialing.

      This well-established practice serves a diverse, loyal patient base and is seeking an additional GP to meet growing demand. The clinic features modern facilities, including three fully equipped consulting rooms, onsite pathology and parking, nearby pharmacy, physiotherapist and other allied health services. The team currently includes two GPs (one male and one female alternating days), a part-time nurse, and three receptionists.

      The practice is extending its operating hours to include 5pm-8pm weekdays and 9am-1pm Sundays. Current operating hours are 9am-5pm weekdays and 9am-3pm Saturdays. The new GP will benefit from a strong patient base, ensuring immediate and consistent patient demand, setting them up for success from day one.

      Located in Melbourne’s northern suburbs, this role offers easy access to schools, shops, public transport, and is just 30 minutes from Melbourne’s CBD, providing the perfect balance of convenience and community living for an ideal work-life balance.
