Backed by a dedicated team of 25 nurses and 8 receptionists, you'll have the support needed to prioritize patient care and elevate your billing opportunities.

This is a unique opportunity for a General Practitioner with relevant experience and professional interest to work in urgent care. You will be a part of minor accident and illness department that provides services such as minor fractures and broken bones, sprains and strains, eye and ear injuries, lacerations and cuts, minor burns etc.

The centre operates 7 days a week from 8am to 8pm and hours can be discussed to suit. Revel in the convenience of our comprehensive amenities, which include fully equipped facilities, a dedicated staff and team room, showers, and secure parking.

This medical centre operates the only Brain Treatment Centre in Australia, assisting patients with neuromodulation and recovery from Autism, ADHD, PTSD and Mental Health issues. They closely collaborate in clinical trials with the University of Sunshine Coast. You will be able to participate in regular discussion lunches held here for the education and training of medical students and other doctors, as well as research projects.

Located just a 40-minute drive from both Brisbane CBD and the Sunshine Coast, this spot nestled in the Moreton Bay region of northern Brisbane boasts an onsite pharmacy, with Caboolture Hospital a mere 10 minutes away.

Essential Criteria

DPA position and visa sponsorship are available. RACGP PEP-Specialist Pathway eligible international candidates (substantially comparable) and GPs holding Specialist Registration with AHPRA are eligible for this role.

The Practice

Almost a mini-hospital, there are over 50 consulting and treatment rooms with 22 GPs, 19 specialists and 48 respiratory doctors – this practice is closer to a small hospital than your usual GP practice. You will be supported by 25 nurses and 8 receptionists, allowing you to focus on looking after your patients and increase your billings.

This is a great opportunity for you to upskill with specialists you can buddy up with on site, including Cardiologists, Gastroenterologists, Skin Cancer Specialists, Paediatrics, Muscular Skeletal, Neurology and many more. The practice has the only Brain Treatment Centre in Australia, assisting patients with neuromodulation and recovery of Autism, ADHD, PSTD and Mental Health issues. The practice is also linked with the Sunshine Coast University clinical trials. Enjoy Thursday education lunches with lunch provided and become involved in teaching and training medical students, GP registrars and other doctors or take part in one of the seven research projects that are currently ongoing.

Your books will be full as soon as you start with flexible working hours between the practice opening hours of 8am to 8pm, 7 days a week.
