The Practice

The practice offers a variety of services including a skin clinic, urgent care, occupational health and a dedicated women’s health clinic, so your special interests will be well supported.  

The clinic offers 20 GP consultation rooms that are designed to meet you and your patients’ needs, as well as a treatment room and spacious, open plan waiting rooms. You will be supported by a comprehensive team of practice management, reception and nursing staff, with Allied Health professionals, pathology and a pharmacy onsite for ease of access. 

Practice opening hours are 8am to 8pm seven days a week, giving you maximum opportunity to build your patient base, with flexible rosters so you can enjoy the beach in your mornings or the city lights in your evenings.   

The Location 

Under 20 minutes from Sydney CBD and only five minutes from the beach, this location has plenty of amenities and space for recreation. Crowned as a National Surfing Reserve you’ll find plenty to do on the beach, on dry land, there’s an outdoor gym, plenty of joggers and the occasional beach cricket competition (international standard!).  

The shopping village includes pharmacies, specialty shops and supermarkets. Most locals travel by bus or car. There are many schools servicing Maroubra locals including public, private and religious schools.

Non-DPA position, 6-month rotations available.

AHPRA ESP eligible international candidates and GPs holding Specialist Registration with AHPRA are eligible for this role.

RACGP PEP-Specialist Pathway (substantially comparable) eligible international candidates are eligible for this role following an initial DPA placement to meet RACGP requirements.

The Practice

This is a well-established mixed billing clinic with a team of 7 GPs, supported by experienced nurses and admin staff. Operating for over a decade, the practice is known for delivering high-quality, patient-centred care across all age groups.

With modern facilities, on-site pathology collection and a wide scope of services including chronic disease management, preventative health, mental health and specialised treatment clinics, the practice offers excellent variety. The clinic is AGPAL accredited, reflecting strong clinical governance and ongoing commitment to best practice care.

Consistent patient demand and a loyal, diverse patient base ensure you can build your books quickly while enjoying continuity of care. Opening hours are Monday to Friday 8:30am to 6pm and 8:30am to 12:30pm on Saturday mornings, with no Sunday or public holiday requirements.

There is encouragement and support for developing special interests, including areas such as skin cancer, women’s health, paediatrics, mental health and chronic disease management.

As a teaching-focused environment, the clinics are actively involved in mentoring the next generation of GPs, contributing to the ongoing strength of the profession. You will also be supported by a well-established team, including highly regarded administrative staff, nurses and allied health professionals, ensuring efficient day-to-day operations. The clinics place equal emphasis on preventative health and acute care, with a strong commitment to community engagement and health promotion. Opening hours vary, with two of the sites open Monday to Friday only, while the third clinic also opens half days on both Saturday and Sunday mornings.
