The Practice

Set in a stunning beachside suburb, a small and boutique practice group that has worked in the healthcare industry for over 30 years is opening the doors to a state-of-the-art facility and is offering opportunities for doctors to join their team. The owners are successfully running another practice they had opened in the greater western Sydney. You can feel confident stepping into this new practice as they are offering an initial hourly guarantee and the clinic is located on a site that was previously a medical centre for over 15 years.

Being a training practice, there is also the opportunity to earn $180/hr through training and supervising GP registrars at the practice.

You will be working in fresh, newly built premises, featuring modern and functional facilities which will allow you to provide patients with state-of-the-art healthcare. They have engaged in sourcing other dedicated and experienced GPs and are looking to build a team of healthcare professional that are committed to providing the local community with quality care. You will be working alongside one part-time female doctor who is set to start in the practice upon opening.

The practice opening hours will be from 8am to 6pm Monday to Friday and 9am to 4pm Saturday. Closed Sundays and no on-call requirements will allow you to enjoy your downtime with family and friends. You will also get to enjoy five weeks off per year – this is your chance to enjoy a work-life balance! Helping you along the way will be nurse and admin staff that will provide comprehensive support where needed.

The Practice

This one-stop-shop medical practice has seen an increase in patient demand and is on the search for a doctor to join their team. The centre is a modern and welcoming facility featuring two fully equipped treatment rooms as well as a wide range of allied health services including physiotherapists, a dietician, podiatrist, psychologist, exercise physiologist, radiology and ultrasound. With a pharmacy on-site too, your patients won't have to go far to get their scripts filled!

You will work alongside highly trained and experienced GPs, two general surgeons and an orthopaedic surgeon. This team is fully supported by two approachable practice managers, four receptionists and seven knowledgeable nurses. The clinic can support an interest in skin cancer and dermatology through their on-site skin clinic.

Practice opening hours are 8am to 6pm on weekdays and 8am to 4pm on weekends, to cater for the differing requirements of the local community. The practice is ideally seeking a GP who is happy to cover 40 hours a week across the opening hours, however, there is flexibility with the hours you work to achieve this.

The Practice

This well-established clinic has been serving the community for over 9 years and is supported by a committed team of five experienced GPs, registered nurses, receptionists, and a practice manager. The clinic is AGPAL-accredited and offers a wide range of services, including general practice, chronic disease management, immunisations, travel vaccinations, men’s and women’s health, Workcover, medical acupuncture, and skin cancer care.

The practice operates under a mixed billing model and enjoys high patient demand, with current GPs billing between $2,500 and $3,500 per day. Conveniently located in a busy shopping centre with onsite parking near the train station that connects to Brisbane CBD within a 15-minute train ride, this practice offers excellent visibility and access for you and your patients.

Doctors benefit from flexible working hours with weekend work available if desired. Initial accommodation is available for those interested, and partnership opportunities are open for discussion, offering a path to a collaborative and long-term role.
