The Position
We are seeking a Consultant Psychiatrist to join Older Persons Mental Health Services in a permanent Staff Specialist role (Classification: Staff Specialist 1–5 / Senior Specialist). The role involves specialist assessment, treatment and ongoing management of older adults with severe mental illness, functional impairment and complex needs across both inpatient and community settings. You will contribute to multidisciplinary care, clinical governance and service development within a recovery-focused framework.
The position also includes teaching, supervision and active participation in an academic environment, with potential for a conjoint academic appointment. You will play a key role in governance, quality improvement and service development activities.

The Practice
This purpose-built medical clinic is looking for a dedicated doctor to help look after their growing patient base. You will join a team of six highly experienced GPs that hold special interests in a number of different areas.
This practice boasts a variety of services under the one roof including a dental surgery, radiology, pathology, physiotherapy and allied health professionals. The practice is well-equipped for all your needs with 19 consult rooms and a fully-stocked treatment room. With full nursing support, you will be able to perform minor procedures and provide your patients with exceptional patient care. Your patients will be looked after well by the reception staff who will support you with your admin needs.
Practice opening hours are 7am to 10pm Monday to Friday and 8am to 9pm on the weekends. The practice is open to discussing your hours to ensure you achieve a healthy work-life balance.
