The Practice

Due to high patient demand, this medical practice is seeking a motivated GP to join their diverse and dedicated staff, offering you the flexibility to practice at your pace.

Featuring 24 consultation rooms, you will be practising in a collaborative environment alongside 16 GPs where you can work and learn alongside other healthcare professionals. You will also be fully supported by a comprehensive team of practice management, admin and nursing staff, so you can focus on patients, not administrative work.

This practice is fully computerised and complete with a wide variety of Allied Health Services on hand to best treat your patients as effectively and quickly as possible. Develop your skills with a broad patient mixed offering lots of variety as well as the opportunity to pursue special interests such as men’s health, women’s health and occupational health.

The practice is purpose-built and ultra-modern, offering state of the art facilities, comfortable and light-filled rooms and waiting areas as well as dedicated, secure parking for their doctors. Opening hours are 7am to 10pm Monday to Thursday, 7am to 8pm on Fridays and 8am to 10pm weekends and Public Holidays, allowing you to tailor your work hours to suit you lifestyle career and earnings aspirations.

This is a unique opportunity for a General Practitioner with relevant experience and professional interest to work in urgent care. This medical centre operates the only Brain Treatment Centre in Australia, assisting patients with neuromodulation and recovery from Autism, ADHD, PTSD and Mental Health issues. You will be able to participate in regular discussion lunches held here for the education and training of medical students and other doctors, as well as research projects.

The Practice

Located only 15 minutes from central Cairns, this state-of-the-art medical centre is seeking a doctor to help look after their patients. The established team of seven GPs are supported by a team of nurses and a dedicated practice manager, so you can focus on looking after your patients. The patient base is nice and varied and includes families, elderly, indigenous and refugee health, along with skin checks and related procures and also diabetes as a common health concern in this area. 

This mixed-billing clinic features 10 consulting rooms, two treatment rooms, an onsite pharmacy, pathology, physiotherapist, dietician, exercise physiologist and psychologist which offers your patients convenient access to various allied health services. Education with CPD points is available as well as financial incentives for fixed-term commitment.

Opening hours are Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm, with a 4pm finish on Wednesdays and Fridays, providing excellent work-life balance – your evenings and weekends are yours to enjoy exploring this beautiful tropical region.

You’ll join a highly skilled GP specialising in diabetes, chronic disease management, pregnancy care, as well as women's and men's health, with a focus on preventive health strategies.
