On Call Requirements • You will be the sole Doctor on call 24/7. • You as the Locum Doctor will be called in for all triage categories (1s to 5s) in-person between 0800 hrs and 2000 hrs. • Overnight from 2000 hrs until 0800 hrs the locum doctor will be required to review all Category 1, 2 and 3 ED Presentations in-person. • Overnight from 2000 hrs until 0800 hrs you will be responsible for Category 4 and 5 ED Presentations, an in-person review will be at your discretion. However you will be required to attend if a clinician or the Registered Nurse calls you requesting your presence. • On-call will also require you at all times to attend inpatients that are deteriorating. • vCare are available in emergency situations (1800 492 227) to assist with support and escalation of a Patient within the facility that requires Emergency assistance, transfer to tertiary facility, advice from specialist teams, emergency birth assistance, Paediatric specialist care, Trauma and Burn specialist support. | |||

The Position
A Staff Specialist Radiologist opportunity is available within a major tertiary referral imaging service in Hobart.
Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, you will contribute to the delivery of diagnostic and interventional radiology services across Tasmania, supporting emergency, inpatient and outpatient care. The role offers exposure to a broad range of imaging modalities including CT, MRI, ultrasound, fluoroscopy and general radiography, alongside opportunities in interventional radiology.
