The Practice

You will be joining a highly regarded, family-owned GP practice that offers the stability and support of a well-established mixed-billing clinic without the constraints of a corporate environment. Working alongside a team of eight experienced GPs, you’ll benefit from a collaborative and supportive clinical environment, complemented by Best Practice software and modern consulting rooms equipped with integrated microphone systems and Lyrebird AI Scribe technology to streamline your workflow and reduce admin time.

The clinic is designed to support high-quality, comprehensive care, with dedicated skin treatment rooms and trained nursing staff assisting in procedures, enabling you to expand your scope into skin cancer checks and treatments if desired. Access to onsite allied health services including physiotherapy, psychology, and speech therapy further enhances patient outcomes while supporting a multidisciplinary approach to care. Clinic hours are 8:30am to 4:30pm Monday to Thursday with a 2pm finish on Fridays and no weekend requirements, offering excellent work-life balance.

This role is particularly suited to a GP requiring DPA flexibility, with the option to rotate across multiple clinics in the Gold Coast and South Brisbane corridor.

Specialist Registration with AHPRA and VR rights with Medicare required

Australian PR or Australian/New Zealand citizenship required

The Practice

This high-performing clinic operates out of a large, modern facility within a busy shopping precinct. The practice features 15 consulting rooms, a spacious treatment room with five beds and a dedicated procedure room for skin work. A large kitchen and an overall open and welcoming layout complete the practice set up.

You will be joining an experienced and cohesive team of nine GPs, two of whom have a strong focus on skin procedures. An experienced practice manager, two nurses and two to three receptionists are usually on site at any given time. The practice has a longstanding team, many of whom have been with the clinic for over ten years, contributing to a collaborative and stable workplace.

The practices utilises Best Practice software and there are a variety of allied health services available on site, including pathology, physiotherapy, dietetics, podiatry and audiology, ensuring a comprehensive healthcare experience for patients. Opening hours are 8am to 5pm Monday to Friday and the clinic stays closed on weekends, offering excellent work-life balance.

The Location

Positioned in a high-visibility shopping centre, the clinic benefits from steady walk-ins and convenient access to nearby services. Pharmacies, radiology and other health providers are located adjacent or within the centre, while the nearest hospital is just a short drive away.

The area serves a mixed patient demographic of families and elderly patients. With ample free parking, a large staff kitchen, and an open, modern layout, the clinic offers a professional yet welcoming work environment.

AHPRA ESP, RACGP PEP-Specialist Pathway eligible international candidates (substantially comparable only) and GPs holding Specialist Registration with AHPRA are eligible for this role.
