The Practice

Step into the ready-made client base of a departing doctor at this fully computerised, mixed billing practice. Here you will be working alongside a team of dedicated eight GPs in a purpose-built facility housing six consulting rooms and one treatment room. Fully supported by a team of five experienced receptionists, a practice manager and four hardworking nurses, you can focus your time on providing excellent patient care.

The practice boasts a wide range of onsite allied health services including a visiting psychologist, speech therapist and diabetes educator. This practice is proud to offer a trip to the doctors that will be both easy and stress free for you and your patients.

Opening hours are a family-friendly 8am to 5pm Monday to Friday and a 5:30pm close on Thursday, with on call responsibilities of one in seven; you’ll have plenty of time to explore the stunning sites of Western Australia on your evenings and weekends off.

While the area is essentially agricultural, the practice is based within a well serviced regional centre and offers access to a range of recreational facilities, government, health and education services, as well as a diverse retail and business district. Essential Criteria

DPA position and visa sponsorship are available.

AHPRA ESP and RACGP PEP-Specialist Pathway eligible international candidates (both substantially and partially comparable) and GPs holding Specialist Registration with AHPRA are eligible for this role. GPs holding General Registration with AHPRA, who have been accepted on to a fellowship pathway with either the RACGP or ACRRM are also welcome to apply.

The Practice

This well-established, fully computerised practice provides high-quality, patient-centred care and is located in a rapidly growing area. The clinic fosters a collaborative and supportive team environment, where GPs can enjoy full accountability for their work. The team consists of four general practitioners, including one doctor with a focus on Women’s Health, and is supported by a practice manager, a registered nurse and four receptionists. Regular clinical meetings are held to discuss interesting cases and exchange views and ideas, contributing to an enjoyable work atmosphere. 

The facilities comprise eight consulting rooms, two treatment rooms and a comfortable staff room and kitchen. The practice is part of a shopping centre, offering easy parking for both patients and staff and plenty of footfall. Allied health services, including a psychologist, dietitian and audiologist, are available on-site for your and your patients’ convenience.

The practice operates a mixed billing model, with the majority of appointments being privately billed, catering to a diverse patient base that is predominantly young families. Opening hours are 7:30am to 5pm on weekdays only, allowing you to enjoy your evenings and weekends off to explore Perth and surrounds. To help you settle in, the practice is happy to offer initial rental subsidy and car rental when you arrive.

Situated in the coastal area of northern Perth, the practice is located in a family-friendly coastal region that is experiencing rapid growth. The suburb is centrally located, with close proximity to major amenities, surrounding suburbs, and both private and public schools. It is just over 30 minutes from the Perth CBD via the freeway.

The area boasts beautiful weather and offers numerous outdoor and beach activities for the whole family. The practice is conveniently located next to the freeway, a train station, and a bus stop, ensuring excellent connectivity.
