A state police check & NT WWCC will be required along with immunisation evidence. The service uses PCIS, training given prior to locum if not used before. This is an opportunity to work within a dedicated team to advance the health outcomes of the Aboriginal community in West Arnhem region. Located in West Arnhem Land near Kakadu National Park, it provides access to some of Australia’s most significant Indigenous art sites, dramatic escarpments, and wetlands. Travel, car and accommodation is provided.

GPs focus on scheduled appointments and patients referred by nurses and AHPs. Operating hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. Nurses manage acute cases and on-call duties, while GPs are not on-call. For emergencies and after-hours acute care, the NT Health deputizing service (DMO on-call) is utilized. Patient evacuations to Royal Darwin Hospital are arranged with CareFlight when needed.
