Description
Clinical haematology registrar
The Registrar is responsible for the day-to-day management of public inpatients and outpatients within the Hospital and provides on call cover for the unit as well as after-hours emergency cover at the hospital.
Cancer and Blood Services (CaBS) at the Royal Hobart Hospital (RHH), is a comprehensive service dedicated to cancer and blood disorder patients including the state-wide bone marrow transplant service.
Multi-disciplinary teams, consisting of medical, surgical and radiation oncologists, nurses, radiation therapists and allied health professionals, develop comprehensive and coordinated treatment plans, ensuring patients get treatment and a team tailored to their individual needs.
Dates required
05 October 2026 to 1 January 2027
Shifts
Monday to Friday 0800 to 1700
On Call
1 week in 4 includes ward rounds on Saturday and Sunday
Support/Supervision
Clinical haematologists including Dr Anna Johnston (Director of Clinical Haematology)
Locum Medical officer National Average Daily Rate
