The Role
Operating hours are Monday to Friday from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, with optional Saturday shifts. Appointments are scheduled in 15-minute slots. On-call duties are specifically designated for the attached nursing home and ED, but solely during business hours. It's worth noting that on-call responsibilities are well-managed through the roster, ensuring that GPs are not burdened with both patient care and on-call duties. Importantly, there is no requirement for ED skills, and any presenting patients are promptly transferred to the referring hospital. This setup offers a diverse workday within a supportive team environment.
