The Position
This is a standout opportunity for a Consultant Psychiatrist (VMO) to join a highly regarded private service specialising in addiction, trauma and mental health. Working in a flexible contract capacity, you’ll deliver high-quality psychiatric care to a motivated inpatient cohort engaged in structured recovery programs.
You’ll be responsible for assessments, treatment planning and ongoing care, supported by a collaborative multidisciplinary team. Regular case reviews ensure coordinated, holistic care, while the service’s established model allows you to focus on clinical excellence.

Essential Criteria
- Specialist Registration with AHPRA
- Fellowship of the RANZCP (FRANZCP)
- Experience in addiction psychiatry, trauma or general adult psychiatry
- Strong communication skills and ability to work within a multidisciplinary team
- Australian citizenship or permanent residency
