Full Description
The Position
This opportunity is suited to an experienced Non-Interventional Cardiologist seeking to develop a long-term private practice within a respected and collaborative cardiology group.
You will provide outpatient consultations, assessment and management of a broad range of cardiovascular conditions, including coronary artery disease, heart failure, arrhythmias, hypertension, valvular heart disease and preventive cardiology.
The role also offers the opportunity to develop subspecialty interests depending on your training, experience and practice requirements, including echocardiography, stress echocardiography, cardiac CT and heart failure services.
You will work closely with referring practitioners and the wider medical community, contributing to continuity of care while supporting quality improvement, clinical governance and ongoing professional development.

The role is supported by an established private cardiology service with consulting facilities across the region and a strong reputation for specialist cardiovascular care. The service provides a collegiate environment with experienced cardiologists and established referral networks.
Essential Criteria
- Medical qualification recognised for practice in Australia
- FRACP in Cardiology or equivalent recognised specialist qualification
- Current specialist registration or eligibility with AHPRA
- Eligibility for a Medicare Provider Number
- Comprehensive experience in adult general cardiology
- Strong clinical, communication and collaborative skills
- Commitment to high-quality, patient-centred cardiovascular care
