The Practice
This GP-owned and run practice operates from two modern, fully equipped sites located just minutes apart on the beautiful Sunshine Coast. Known for their welcoming atmosphere and commitment to quality care, both practices have been recently refurbished and offer exceptional facilities, including 12 consulting rooms across the two sites, procedure and treatment rooms and on-site allied health professionals such as a dietitian and psychologist.
A supportive team of nurses and administrative staff ensures that doctors can focus on delivering the best possible care. The largely private billing practices are designed to ensure doctors thrive, offering complete autonomy over schedules and billing while fostering a culture of collegiality and mutual support. Regular clinical meetings and case discussions encourage professional growth.
Practice opening hours are 8am to 5pm Monday to Friday, with no evening or weekend work required.
The clinic team prioritises work-life balance with flexible hours, exceptional patient care over patient turnover, and a team environment that values professionalism, honesty, and good humour. For your peace of mind, the practice is offering a generous initial earnings guarantee of $250 per hour for the first three months. Established GPs bill up to $15,000 per week whilst providing quality care to their patients – that could be you!
The Location
The Sunshine Coast is one of Australia’s most desirable coastal destinations, combining natural beauty with a relaxed yet vibrant lifestyle. The area is known for its pristine beaches - and for destinations beyond the coastline like the mountains and hinterland provide a haven for hiking, cycling, and exploring. This sun-soaked region boasts thriving communities with boutique shopping, art galleries, markets, and excellent dining options, alongside family-friendly suburbs featuring top-quality schools and recreational facilities.
Conveniently located just an hour north of Brisbane, the region has its own airport offering flights to major cities and select international destinations. With over 300 days of sunshine each year and a mild climate, residents enjoy outdoor living year-round. Whether you're looking for a laid-back lifestyle, active outdoor culture, or a family-friendly environment, the Sunshine Coast has something for everyone.
Essential Criteria
Non DPA position – Six-month rotations can be discussed for the right candidate if DPA is required.
Visa sponsorship available.
AHPRA ESP and RACGP PEP-Specialist Pathway eligible international candidates (substantially comparable) as well as GPs holding Specialist Registration with AHPRA are eligible for this role.
