The Practice
This highly regarded, bulk-billing practice is co-located with the local Health Service and adjacent to the Urgent Care Centre, delivering comprehensive healthcare to a rich, multicultural community. Operating from modern, purpose-built facilities, the clinic features three fully equipped consulting rooms with natural light, staff parking, a dedicated team room, and outdoor break spaces. You will work alongside a collaborative team of three experienced GPs with special interests spanning Geriatrics, Dermatology, Women’s Health, Chronic Disease, and Mental Health. The clinical team is fully supported by Practice Nurses, a Nurse Practitioner, Reception staff, and an experienced Practice Manager.
The practice is computerised using Best Practice software and operates from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday, with no on-call responsibilities. Patients have convenient access to onsite pathology, radiology, and visiting allied health professionals (Physiotherapy, Podiatry, Diabetes Educator). Patient demographics include young families, paediatric cases (14%), Indigenous health, local agricultural workers, and an established senior cohort (48% aged 65+).

Located on the scenic banks of the Murray River, Robinvale is a thriving regional township known for its warm, sunny climate, rich agricultural background, and welcoming community. It offers an affordable, relaxed rural lifestyle with local schools, vibrant cultural heritage, and fantastic outdoor recreational activities. | Conditions: | This Urgent Care Centre is seeking ongoing locum cover, with up to 2 locum GP's across each weekday shift. The hours are Monday –Friday 10am–6pm paying $1800 per day and then weekends/public holidays from12pm –4pm paying $1500 per day. There is a diverse patient base including Indigenous and non-Indigenous patients, mostly Cat 4 & 5, and with approximately 4 patients per hour. Ideally you will be competent with suturing/gluing and holding the ALS certificate is desirable. You will work within an experienced, welcoming team including another GP weekdays (whilst sole GP on the weekends which is an optional shift), plus nurses and admin support. In terms of equipment, they do provide auroscopes and ophthalmoscopes however they do not store dermatoscopes.
