The Practice
With the current doctors unable to keep up with patient demand, this practice needs you to join their team and hit the ground running. The practice is open to offering either full-time or part-time positions and is offering a generous percentage of billings, along with other financial benefits. The practice is dedicated to helping you settle in and is therefore willing to cover up to $15,000 in relocation costs and is offering an initial guarantee along with a $25,000 to $30,000 incentive.
The practice is currently kept busy with the four doctors seeing between 30 to 40 patients per day. Your days will go by quickly when you are kept this busy and with patient numbers like this there is potential to earn well! The practice is state-of-the-art and boasts ten large consult rooms fitted with brand new equipment, providing you with everything you need to provide exceptional care. The practice also has its own car park dedicated for the doctors, making the commute into work easy and accessible.
Ensuring your day runs accordingly to plan and your patients are taken care of are two nurses, a practice manager and four friendly reception staff. The practice is open Monday to Friday from 9am to 9pm and Saturday and Sunday from 9:00am to 6:00pm. There is no on-call commitment and as mentioned the practice is happy to offer full-time or part-time hours to suit your needs.

| Conditions: | Role information: Recent GP and ED experience required. ED skills imperative to role - assessment and management of all triage codes including critical care with support from WNSWLHD v Care team. • You will be the sole Doctor on call 24/7. • You as the Locum Doctor will be called in for all triage categories (1s to 5s) in-person between 0800 hrs and 2000 hrs. • Overnight from 2000 hrs until 0800 hrs the locum doctor will be required to review all Category 1, 2 and 3 ED Presentations in-person. • Overnight from 2000 hrs until 0800 hrs you will be responsible for Category 4 and 5 ED Presentations, an in-person review will be at your discretion. Fatigue breaks if required are to be discussed prior to taking any break with the Health Service Manager. Please note support is available via vCare in emergency situations. Hours required to be on-site: Daily ward round and at agreed times for clinics if required. Type of Doctor required: GP with Emergency Department Experience. Must have completed Rural eMeds training. Medicare Provider number requirements: The Doctor needs to have full billing rights under Medicare Information on site: Nyngan is a 42 bed MPS with ED, acute, renal and residential care provided on site.
