The Practice
This rural general practice is part of a regionally supported health network, caring for an enrolled population of just under 4,000 patients. It is staffed by a collaborative team of GPs, nurse prescribers, registered nurses, midwives, health coaches, and community health providers. The clinic features consulting rooms, a treatment room, and a dedicated emergency room. GPs typically see 18–22 patients per day, with protected admin time and established acute care protocols.
Enjoy a healthy work-life balance with family-friendly weekday hours, 8:30am to 5:30pm, shared Saturday clinics only once every 9 weeks, and the flexibility to take part in a weekly rotating satellite clinic for added variety. This 6-month minimum contract includes the option to extend or transition to a permanent role. Relocation support, accommodation, and a vehicle are provided, along with visa sponsorship for eligible candidates. You’ll join a forward-thinking team that blends clinical practice with Māori models of care, enriching your professional and cultural experience.

Here you will be working alongside a team of dedicated eight GPs in a purpose-built facility housing six consulting rooms and one treatment room. The current established GP bill up to $16,500 per week and to help you settle in, relocation assistance can be offered as well.
This private billing practice prides itself on having created a collaborative environment and is therefore looking for a GP that is dedicated and a team player. Placing high value on supporting their team, this practice is willing to facilitate training and development with any special interests that you may have and with this also comes a higher private billing for any special interest procedures. There are currently three GPs at the practice and there is plenty of room for growth and the practice is looking to build their team of GPs over time.
Working in a purpose-built, modern facility, you will have access to three consult rooms with room for expansion.
