      The Practice

      A boutique group of GP-owned-and-run practices are offering new opportunities to GPs to join their team and start practicing quality medicine. If you are committed to going above and beyond and are passionate about healthcare, this could be the perfect role for you. You will be joining a team of like-minded and supportive doctors that will ensure you are well supported and will help make you feel at home in no time.

      The practices are situated in various locations across Perth, some with replacement DPA roles. The majority of clinics are AGPAL accredited teaching practices and all are equipped with modern, state-of-the-art facilities that are architecturally designed and laid out to doctors’ specifications. The majority of clinics are mixed billing with walk-ins being billed privately. You will join a team of friendly and experienced GPs who will help you feel at home in no time. Not only will you have access to well-equipped facilities, you will be fully supported by full-time nursing and administrative staff. Your daily admin tasks will be taken care of, allowing you to draw focus on your patients and their needs.

      With varied opening hours ranging from 7am to 7pm Monday to Friday as well as weekend hours and rosters available as desired, working hours are flexible to suit your needs and achieve work-life balance. Wavelength has been delighted to assist 6 GPs with joining this lovely and supportive group of practices and the feedback has been excellent across the board.

      This group of clinics is currently running a unique collaboration with one of Perth’s hospitals, a WA-first, that sees hospital specialists partnering with the clinics and seeing patients on site as well as providing one-to-one training to GPs in areas such as dermatology and surgery – a terrific opportunity to expand your skills and increase your earning potential at the same time!

      The Location

      Perth is one of the world's most liveable cities.       DPA position and visa sponsorship are available. AHPRA ESP and RACGP PEP-Specialist Pathway eligible international candidates (substantially comparable) as well as GPs holding Specialist Registration with AHPRA are eligible for this role.

      Conditions: This fully computerised clinic featuring a large number of consulting rooms plus a three bay treatment area, is looking for additional locum support each week. It is a large and modern purpose-built site, home to an outstanding team of GPs and registered nurses, a full-time practice manager and multiple receptionists who go out of their way to assist their GPs daily. Working Monday to Friday from 8.30am -17.00pm, there is no afterhours or weekend work required however, on occasion you may be required to assist at one of the outreach clinics with the hours of work adapted to allow for the travel time. Within the clinic, patients are booked in 15-minute standard consultation times with longer appointments available when needed. The clinic software used is Best Practice. With associations with the local health service there is a largely nurse led hospital facility in the local area and in order to work within the clinic you will be required to hold a relevant WWCC and have evidence of the latest influenza vaccine. As for the location, this is where river meets the sea and where you can seek an unspoiled escape with scenic walks, uncrowded landscapes and abundant wildlife.       Conditions: You will be the sole-chronic disease specialist supplying ward services to Fitzroy Crossing hospital. Completing a ward round and patient discussion with the handover nurse and the ED SMOs. The outpatient ward manages patients with complex chronic conditions (diabetes, chronic kidney disease, ischaemic heart disease, rheumatic heart disease, etc.) so previous cultural awareness experience is essential. There is 24/7 support but you will not be required afterhours or over weekends. Travel is via Broome then by air or car to Fitzroy Crossing. All travel provisions including a 4x4 car is provided and you must be able to cover a 2-week block if travelling from outside WA. This region offers a powerful blend of natural beauty, culture, and outback adventure. Set on the Fitzroy River at the gateway to the Kimberley, it’s the perfect base to explore dramatic landscapes like Geikie Gorge (Danggu National Park), with its towering limestone cliffs and river cruises.

They supply Primary Health Care, In Patient Care and an Accident and Emergency Service, so support is available 24/7.
