Hours required to be on-site will be 8am ward rounds, followed by ED reviews etc - finish time to be negotiated with site. Be familiar with between the flags, clinical review, and rapid response process. Know how to alter calling criteria when appropriate. Become familiar with the current pathways used such as chest pain, sepsis, COPD plan and cardiac Failure plan. Must return to the ED when requested by nursing staff at any time. The clinic operates 7 days a week whereby no appointment is required and whereby it is a free service for Medicare card holders. It is run by a team of doctors, nurses and allied health professionals experienced in treating urgent medical needs from those aged 3 months plus to the elderly. The presentations can range from Cat 2 to Cat 5 with the average length of stay around 105 minutes. The facility provides a 24 hour Emergency Department. If required, our patients are transferred to either Dubbo Health Service or further if the need arises. Must have eMeds and eMR completed Medicare Provider number requirements: Refer and Request is OK Information on site: Warren has an average of 6 – 12 presentations daily with approximately 4 inpatients.
