Two locations, one purpose
Tropical Townsville beckons! This longstanding clinic that has been caring for the local community for 30 years and undergone renovations in 2020. The practice operates from two sites in neighbouring suburbs 20 minutes from central Townsville, with two hospitals only ten minutes away. The Practice
Due to a longstanding GP retiring, this privately owned, non-corporate clinic is looking for a GP to join their established team of 12 doctors, two of whom have a strong interest and skills in skin cancer. With the support of four receptionists and two to three nurses on site each day, you will look after 30 to 40 patients per day, depending on your own preferred work style, with the patient base offering a lovely mix of all age groups from young families through to elderly patients. The clinic features 11 GP rooms, a large treatment room and a separate procedure room so that you can provide the best possible healthcare and follow your special interests.
Depending on supervision requirements, there is a fully optional opportunity to pick up some shifts in the co-located urgent care clinic to vary up your week nicely. For the urgent care work, the pay rate on offer is 85% and $300 per hour minimum guarantee for after-hours cover between 6pm-10pm!
The practice can also offer assistance with initial accommodation for doctors relocating interstate or internationally. Conveniently situated in a popular shopping centre, a psychologist, pathology services and physio are available on site for your and your patient’s convenience. Operating hours are 8am to 6pm Monday to Friday and 9am to 4pm on weekends, allowing you to tailor your work schedule and achieve a lifestyle that suits you best!
