The Practice
This modern, purpose built medical centre is located within a large shopping complex in Busselton, with a pharmacy next door and ample on site parking. The practice is mixed billing and services a large and growing patient population with consistently high demand. Current full time GPs are billing approximately $15,000 per week, and new doctors can expect to be fully booked within two weeks.
You will be joining a team of seven experienced GPs in a genuinely supportive and inclusive environment where GPs are actively involved in how the clinic is run. Doctors have full autonomy over their appointment books and working arrangements, supported by five experienced nurses and a strong reception and management team.

On Call Requirements • You will be the sole Doctor on call 24/7. • You as the Locum Doctor will be called in for all triage categorie (1s to 5s) in-person between 0700 hrs and 2200 hrs. • Overnight from 2200 hrs until 0700 hrs the locum doctor will be required to review all Category 1, 2 and 3 ED Presentations in-person. • Overnight from 2200 hrs until 0700 hrs VRGS will cover Category 4 and 5 ED Presentations, however you will be required to attend if a clinician or the Registered Nurse calls you requesting your presence. • On-call the Locum Doctor will also be required at all times to attend inpatients that are deteriorating. • vCare are available in emergency situations (1800 492 227) to assist with support and escalation of a Patient within the facility that requires Emergency assistance, transfer to tertiary facility, advice from specialist teams, emergency birth assistance, Paediatric specialist care, Trauma and Burn specialist support. Fatigue breaks • Fatigue breaks are available if Doctor has an emergency, busy night/day and is feeling fatigued, however this must be discussed prior to taking any break with the Health Service Manager or ‘In charge’.
