Find new ways to switch off outside of work 

With the impact of the pandemic still being felt across Australia and most of the Wavelength team experiencing a lengthy lockdown in Sydney, we’ve been looking for ways to boost our positivity, stay connected with family and friends and look after our mental health.

So, if you’re finding it hard to create some much-needed headspace, we’ve got you covered. Here are the top 3 podcasts, books, TV shows and activities that are helping us get through this period.

What we're listening to

1. We can do hard things – Glennon Doyle 

Glennon Doyle uses the phrase “We can do hard things” from her popular book, Untamed, to touch on topics that people find hard every day. Her aim is to help everyone live a little bit lighter and braver, freer and less alone.

2. SmartLess - Jason Bateman, Sean Hayes & Will Arnett 

This podcast connects people from all walks of life to learn about shared experiences. What ensues is a genuinely improvised and authentic conversation filled with laughter and newfound knowledge to feed the SmartLess mind. 

3. The Flying Doctor Podcast – Royal Flying Doctor Service 

The rural and remote communities that the RFDS services are made of strong and often courageous individuals. They work shoulder-to-shoulder with the RFDS and this podcast takes a look at some of their inspiring stories.
