== The Position == In this appointment you will join another Respiratory physician within the department and seeking an opportunity to provide your services in a rural environment, including participation with the on call general physician roster at the Hospital. The department provides endoscopic bronchial ultrasound service and a weekly bronchoscopy list. There is local availability of inpatient sleep studies. In the role you will run a privately referred outpatient consultancy service in from consulting rooms onsite, including providing outreach clinic services to the smaller communities of the area.   This is a great opportunity for a specialist who wishes to become involved in teaching and research projects as the hospital actively encourages ongoing professional development and life-long learning.   The Hospital The hospital is a 280 bed acute general hospital located near the town centre of Tamworth. It boasts a full range of services including Internal Medicine, Neurology, Rheumatology, Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Anaesthetics, Rehabilitation, Geriatrics, Psychiatry, Paediatrics, General Surgery and Orthopaedics. There is a well-equipped 7-bedded ICU department.
