The Position
As an unaccredited Registrar in Paediatrics and Child Health, you will attend the Paediatric Unit, Emergency Department, Labour Ward, Neonatal Nursery and the Postnatal Ward as required. You may also be required to advise or support surgical teams in the management of paediatric patients. You will be required to attend elective and emergency Caesarian Sections and perform Baby Checks on infants prior to discharge from the Maternity Ward. You will attend daily ward rounds with the Consultants and contribute to the teaching of junior staff and medical students. This role is available to commence in the new medical year from February 2019.

The hospital is well staffed and you will receive support from the department's senior medical staff. Essential Criteria
To be successful you must hold current registration or be eligible for registration with the Australian Medical Board (AHPRA) with experience from a country with a comparable health care system (New Zealand, Ireland, United Kingdom, Canada or USA). You must have a minimum of two years post graduate experience in a hospital setting.
