== The Position == As an unaccredited Paediatrics/Neonates Registrar, you will join a beachside location in Sydney. Your focus will be on neonates in the Maternity Ward, and paediatric assessment in the Emergency Department including organising transfers if admission is required. By November you will move to the new department within a hospital which has seen major redevelopment, only a 30-minute drive from where you will commence initially. Here you will gain a broader experience including involvement in the paediatric ward and special care neonates nursey. You must be available to commence by the end of May 2018 with a commitment until February 2019. The Hospital You will initially join a hospital that provides acute care services including critical care, emergency medicine, pregnancy and birth, medical, psychiatric, surgical and orthopaedic services. By November you will transfer to a 156-bed district hospital that has been providing quality health care to the community for over 50 years. This service is currently undergoing redevelopment and has seen significant investment in recent years. You will join a team providing high-quality integrated health care services with contemporary purpose-built facilities. == The Location == With both services located on the beachside of Sydney you will find yourself enjoying several stunning beaches, lakes and national parks on your time off. You will enjoy working in some of Sydney?s best coastal hot-spots in as community of surfers, joggers and families who lead healthy and fit lifestyles in the beautiful outdoors. You will be within 35km of Sydney?s CBD and with the hospitals within 30 minutes of each other, you will be able to base yourself in an ideal location if you are new to the area.   == Essential Criteria == Critical care trainees from PGY4 onward with AHPRA General registration will be considered suitable to apply for this role.
