== The Position == Wavelength is seeking a permanent FT Staff Specialist/VMO, in Obstetrics & Gynaecology, to join a leading Health Care provider. Located in the beautiful northern New South Wales region, you will be joining a well-established & supportive team, to facilitate the development of Obstetrics and Gynaecology services to patients of Coffs Harbour Health Campus, including providing a leading role for medical governance of the Pregnancy Care Service (PCS); development of a gynaecology outpatients service. With a Level 4 ? Neonatal services, you will be supported with Midwifery staff providing care for the women across the continuum.  You will hold a high level of leadership, ensure to carry out effective clinical handover of patient requirements and monitor the service to identify variance, to improve outcomes. The Hospital Serving an estimated population of 75,000 people, this facility is highly regarded for the quality of patient care and extensive range of services provided to the community. The Coffs Harbour Health Campus (CHHC) is a 100-bed busy regional referral centre, holding 19 maternity beds and four birthing suites. Birth rates have also stabilised over the past four years at around 1,000 to 1,100 births annually. Must have Fellowship of The Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetrics and Gynaecology, and/or other specialist recognition.
