== The Position ==  An exciting opportunity exists for a motivated individual ready to take on a new, full-time or part time challenge in regional Victoria. You will join the the Oncology Department and be responsible for providing the medical oncology services to both inpatients and ambulatory care patients from services provided at the outpatient clinics and Day Treatment Unit in the Oncology building. Working as part of a multi-disciplinary team, there is opportunity to take an active part in teaching at undergraduate and post graduate levels as well as ongoing research activities. This role will include some on call duties where complications to medical oncology patients arise. The Health Service This is an exciting time to join this service as it moves towards being one of the largest regional health services just outside Melbourne. This is a large, modern, 280-bed hospital with four theatres, in-house MRI and CT services and a state-of-the-art clinical skills laboratory. Servicing an immediate population of approximately 110,000 residents, this health service is the main referral service for the region.  Services include a 24-hour Emergency Department, Surgery, Medical Services, Women?s and Children?s Services, Rehabilitation and Palliative care, Mental Health, Outpatients, and community-based health programs. Our client is looking for a candidate with extensive recent experience in  Oncology and leadership. Desirable attributes include teaching and training experience along with research experience. Unless you are a native English speaker you must also meet the English language proficiency requirements.
