== The Position == Wavelength has a new opportunity for a Consultant O&G to join a collegial team in a growing community located in North West Victoria. With four birthing suites and approximately 1,000 births per annum, you will work collaboratively within a small team of specialists. You will be welcomed as part of flexible, supportive and professional team with experienced nursing and administration staff to assist you in driving patient outcomes. You will provide high quality services providing clinical treatment and patient management in both private and bulk billed services. You will provide a broad spectrum of continuing care across antenatal, intrapartum and postnatal care. The Hospital With a catchment population of approximately 80,000 this large regional hospital has recently been awarded a $4.5 million grant to upgrade its facilities to meet growing demands of the community. With 146 beds, the facility currently offers a broad range of services including Dialysis, Obstetrics, Paediatrics, Palliative Care and Integrated Cancer Services. The modern, 24 hour Emergency Department sees 29,371 presentations annually, alongside 17,254 patient admissions. A wide range of Allied Health services are available through the adjoining ambulatory care unit including fracture clinics, wound care and rehabilitation facilities. == The Location == Supplying most of the nation?s grapes for wine production, this popular horticultural destination is located in the North West of Victoria.
