Staff Specialist Neurologist

Exciting opportunity for a General Neurologist seeking a move to beautifully diverse south eastern QLD

The Position
Wavelength is seeking expressions of interest from Specialist Neurologists for an excellent opportunity in metropolitan Queensland. This is an ideal role for a General Neurologist with an interest in nerve condition studies. Your role will encompass the provision of clinical care to patients and the clinical management of a multidisciplinary team to ensure quality patient care. Additionally, this is a wonderful opportunity for those with a passion for the development and training of junior medical staff and health care members.   

You will work alongside a strong team of 4 full-time and 4 part-time Neurologists, with 24/7 Registrar cover.

The Hospital and Health Service
This major public health service oversees 1000 plus beds and 6000 plus employees, across three hospitals.  As the Specialist Neurologist, you will work across two of the three locations- one being the major university hospital. The health service provides its patients and staff access to state-of-the-art facilities, including outstanding research facilities.

Essential Criteria
To be successful in applying for this position you must hold FRACP (or be close to obtaining fellowship) or the overseas equivalent and be eligible for registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency.
