This is an excellent opportunity for a Specialist Geriatrician Physician to join a busy private hospital. This is an exciting opportunity to develop a busy practice in a highly respected and acute care medical and surgical facility in a desirable Queensland location. Idealy you will be a consultant Physician who specialises in Geriatric Medicine and Rehabilitation with a strong focus on Specialising in Rehabilitation of the older person, Orthogeriatrics and perioperative management. On a day-to-day basis you will review selected patients pre-operatively to optimise medical care in relation to planned surgery, monitor progress and assist with management post-operatively, including post discharge management of medical issues by the general practitioner. Diagnosis and management of the complex interplay of multiple internal medicine disorders affecting cognition and function in the older person
