Join a dedicated multidisciplinary team in a new community based palliative care service in Western Sydney. As a Palliative Medicine Specialist, you will provide community clinical palliative care services, provide collaborative support to General Practitioners, and participate in the community palliative care on-call roster.
You will have the opportunity to provide medical leadership and clinical support for the developing service, whilst receiving collegial support from peers from across the network. Use your experience and knowledge and become involved in palliative care medical education and capacity building with community clinicians and local GP?s.
Supervise and train GP and Palliative Medicine Advanced Trainee registrars.
This organisation is a not for profit NGO. They are well established in Australia and one of the largest providers of non-government community-based palliative care services. The provision of a 24-hour community palliative care service in Western Sydney is being provided in partnership with WSLHD and was established in 2017.
To be successful in applying for this position you must hold FRACP or FAChPM or the equivalent Consultant qualification and be eligible for registration with AHPRA.
