== The Position == As a senior member of the paediatric team you will expected to provide clinical expertise and management related to your speciality. The paediatric department encompasses children in the Emergency Department, inpatients, neonatal nursery and outpatients, including community consultations. You will be based in a busy environment but still have time to partake in professional development activities. As an expert in your field, you will also pass on your knowledge and supervise junior medical staff and students. The role will also include engagement in quality improvement activities, maintaining medical records and audits. ? Having recently completed a $27 million redevelopment the hospital has excellent facilities and equipment available for you. Comprising of approximately 80 public beds and a 20 bed private hospital, the hospital offers a range of services including general medicine, general, orthopaedics, ENT, ophthalmic, and gynaecological surgery and obstetrics in addition to an emergency department and a high dependency unit. == The Location == Located across a beautifully diverse landscape of both sea and mountains, this is the perfect location for an adventurous family.
