== The Position == You will provide effective specialist services and day to day clinical management to the local community, displaying your extensive experience in general surgeries alongside skills in trauma and abdominal emergencies. You will be enthusiastic and passionate, collaborating with a team of three resident surgeons with locum, registrar and JMO support. A competitive remuneration package is on offer, inclusive of a salary with generous allowances. You will be working on a roster based service with one full list day per week and on call where required, with potential opportunities at the local private hospital.  Contributing to service development review and implementation, you will have an interest in the improvement of clinical services, alongside an interest in teaching as you provide supervision and teaching of medical students and junior colleagues.
