Wavelength is seeking a Specialist General Surgeon to take on a new role located in Tasmania. This newly established role will work to provide quality specialist medical services and improve patient outcomes within the general surgical unit. You will perform surgeries both in the main theatres as well as the day procedure unit, whilst operating on call for emergencies out of hours. You will showcase your leadership skills as you will be responsible for the supervision and teaching of junior medical staff alongside students of the local university. Participation in clinical reviews and research activities within the hospital are also highly encouraged with your commitment to continuing your professional development.
