== The Position == In this appointment you will be responsible for providing high quality specialist treatment and care for public patients across two area health locations. You will have the opportunity to develop your subspecialty interest within a busy diabetes/general endocrinology practice, conduct clinical research through the hospital's research foundation, and engage in teaching and supervision for medical students and the FRACP training program. Our client is actively involved in service development and improvement; therefore they are interested in candidates who are passionate about developing the hospital's inpatient diabetes care service or integrated community diabetes service. You will be also required to participate in the General Medicine on call roster. The Hospital This post is based in a 300 bed public hospital that offers all acute medical services. It is a major referral facility that provides general and specialist health services to a population of about 250,000 people. With recent redevelopments, the facilities are modern and functional and the staff areas are excellent.
