== The Position == Wavelength is seeking a Staff Specialist / Senior Staff Specialist ? Paediatrics to take on an exciting role located in Northern Queensland. You will be providing leadership and direction to an expanding team team in this well established major Hospital with a forward thinking Clinical Director. You will also be providing high level clinical consulting skills across a wide range of paediatric services and various locations as required. Your ability to work autonomously will be highly regarded as you direct patient process from triage to discharge and on going care with registrar and RMO support available to you around the clock. The facility offers services such as Obstetrics, Paediatrics, Emergency and Coronary care. There are currently two operating theatres with a four bed ICU. The Emergency department currently sees over 27,593 presentations, and 10,977 admissions annually.
