== The Position == As a Senior Resident Medical Officer, you will be exposed to a mix of rotations across Rehabilitation Medicine, basic physicians training relief roster and other sub-specialties as required. This is an ideal position for Senior Residence Medical Officers (PGY3+) with an interest in Rehabilitation Medicine and/or future Basic Physicians Training positions. This service offers numerous formal and informal learning forums including a well-attended morning clinical handover, grand rounds and regular unit scientific meetings. You will provide day-to-day medical care for patients and work collaboratively with a dedicated clinical team to maximise patient care. You will offer your expertise to more junior staff, contributing to supervision and education activities.    The Hospital You will be working across two hospitals, one a 600+ bed tertiary level health facility offering state of the art medical and surgical subspecialty services and a RACP accredited level 3 site. The other is a brand-new University hospital that will provide subacute services including Rehabilitation (inpatient, outpatient, day programmes), Geriatric Evaluation and Management and Psychiatric subacute services. Once operational, all current Rehabilitation services in the region will move to this purpose-built rehabilitation hospital.
