The Health Service
The regional hospitals provide their local communities with inpatient, outpatient, ED, allied health and community health services. The hospitals have a very strong multi-disciplinary approach to service delivery with experienced nursing support as well as dedicated community healthcare teams. You will be well supported by a network of visiting specialists who deliver important health programs, including Closing the Gap initiatives across towns with Indigenous populations.

Chinchila is a delightful contry town in the Western Downs area of Queensland. With a population of aorund 5,000 the town has all the amenities you need as well as a fantastic community spirit. Towoomba is just 2 hours drive away and Brisbane and Sunshine / Gold Coasts are just 4 hous drive should you want the bright lights or bearutiful beaches for the weekend.
== Essential Criteria ==
FRACGP or FACRRM qualifications are highly desirable, as well as specialist registration with AHPRA.
Non-VR GPs with Australian experience also welcome to apply
Emergency experience is desirable, however, ED up-skilling can be provided if required.
