An exciting opportunity has become available for Radiation Oncologist to join a busy, state of the art oncology centre in New Zealand. Ideally, you will have an interest in Breast, Upper Gastrointestinal, Lung or Gynae and available to relocate within the next 6-9 months. This is a great opportunity to join a friendly clinic that provides contemporary radiation oncology services to publically and privately funded patients within one of the fastest growing populations in the country.
There are many radiation therapy delivery methods offered at the centre including volumetric modulated arc therapy (VMAT), High Dose Rate brachytherapy, treatment for skin cancers and skin conditions and Intensity Modulated Radiation Therapy (IMRT). The service offers an integrated Elekta solution for radiotherapy delivery with two Versa HD linear accelerators, Monaco 5 treatment planning system, MOSAIQ , microselectron HDR unit, Toshiba wide bore CT scanner and a superficial xray therapy unit.
You will settle in New Zealand’s fifth largest city that is home to an estimated 135,000 people. To be successful in applying for this position you must be eligible for vocational registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand and you must hold specialist qualifications.
