== The Position ==: This is a newly created Psychiatry trainee role to start in February 2019. The Integrated Mental Health Inpatient Unit features six single patient bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms and a comfortably furnished dining and lounge area, making the environment as welcoming and home-like as possible. The service includes a full time psychiatrist, which will bring benefits to all mental health consumers in the region. The service also has Mental Health Rehabilitation Service and Mental Health Crisis Response teams. All psychiatry trainee rotations are provided.  The Hospital:  This regional hospital went through a major redevelopment in 2012 and 2013, with new facilities including the Regional Cancer Centre, Integrated Mental Health Inpatient Unit, specialist rehabilitation unit, new surgical services and 48 single patient rooms. Since 2014, the team has delivered more than 138,000 treatments. == The Location ==: Blessed with more than 300 days of sunshine every year, this a beautiful part of South Australia. It is a popular tourism spot, thanks to its proud industrial history and natural wonders including the annual spawning of giant, luminescent cuttlefish. Divers and snorkellers from all over Australia and the world converge here between May and August each year due to the amazing conditions.  Based only a short 50 minute flight from Adelaide, this is an opportunity not to be missed. == Essential Criteria ==: Must have or be eligible for General Registration to APHRA. Must be on or applying to be on the the RANZCP training program.
