== The Position == Wavelength is seeking a Staff Specialist ? Paediatrics to take on an exciting role located in regional New South Wales. Joining a brand new unit, you will be supported by experienced paediatric nursing staff to assist the Senior Staff Specialist to establish and drive the service in this community. You will have a high level of time management skills and a keen eye for detail as you provide clinical treatment and management of patients. As a member of the leadership team you will also participate in clinical governance and service planning for the department.  Additionally, this is an opportunity to showcase your skills as you teach and support medical students from a nearby university as they complete rotations through the department.   The Hospital Serving a catchment population of over 33,000 people, this brand new facility has recently undergone a $183 million redevelopment allowing state of the art services to be provided to the growing community. Integrating a health campus for education, accommodation for families and patients and clinical services, this campus is the first of its kind within the district. The hospital hosts 134 beds to encompass high level care for ICU, Coronary care and domiciliary patients. A brand new 6 bed paediatric unit has recently been opened as part of the redevelopment, with Oncology, Psychiatric and Obstetric care services remaining available to the community.
