== The Position == Joining as a Paediatric Resident Medical Officer, you will be involved in registrar level clinical duties such as managing the medical care of all children attending the 60-bed unit. Working closely with a highly experienced and specialist multicultural and multidisciplinary team, including renowned Consultants, you will help ensure the patients? treatment and care needs are always met at the highest standard. Along with completing tasks such as carrying out routine medical procedures, you may be required to attend newborns in the maternity unit or to manage babies on the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.  If you have an interest in studying for a higher degree, this health service can support you due to its links to local Institutes to provide a programme of joint appointments. The Hospital With 60 paediatric beds, a neonatal intensive care unit shortly to accept babies from 28 weeks gestation and a separate 6 bedded (expandable to 10 beds) Paediatric Intensive Care Unit, this hospital is the UK?s only dedicated Private Women and Children?s Hospital. If you have not previously held GMC registration but are currently eligible to apply your application may also be considered. You must have Specialist Trainee or registrar level experience at a minimum level of 5 years postgraduate.
